FAQ

How will I know what my runner will look like?

You will be able to see an image on screen or print off your customised runner before you order. For customised and bespoke orders, we will provide a full graphically designed proof.

How will I know the length?

See aisle guidelines or call us for assistance. What you need to do is measure your church aisle and then decide what length you want and what suits your needs.

What will I do with the runner after our wedding?

We advise that your groomsman re-rolls your runner so you can take it to your reception venue afterwards for you to walk into and make a fabulous entrance again and get a great photograph. After the wedding we can organise to have your wedding runner cut & sewn where your names are so you can use it as a doormat at your new house or you can hang it on the wall. A section could be given to your mother and mother in law and the section with text can be used as a tapestry and handed down through the generations, what a keepsake!

What does it cost?

All runners are a standard 1 meter wide (3’3”) and are sold by the running foot (0.30cm) at €19 per ft.

What about delivery?

Delivery throughout Ireland and N Ireland is €28 and to the UK is €35. We will quote separately for delivery to Europe, US, Asia, Australia & NZ and the rest of the world.

How do I care for and Install my Wedding Aisle Runner?

Your luruxious pile runner needs only to be rolled out prior to the bride arriving, some couples choose to have their best men roll out runner prior to service and reroll prior to brides arrival to insure they are 100% happy.

Sometimes if the runner has been ordered and in storage for more than a few weeks the ends need to be rolled the other way for a few mins, this only takes a couple of mins but it just ensures the pile stays flat; otherwise ensure you delegate the task to a best man or usher to re roll and take to the reception for more pictures.

Also prior to the wedding day is a good time to allocate the task of taking the runner to A LOCAL carpet shop to be cut and reused wheather in you own home or if sections are going to mother and mother in law, let it be sorted prior to your return from honeymoon.

When do I roll out the Wedding Aisle Runner?

You can either unroll your Wedding Runner and have it in place before the guests are seated or seat guests from the outside of aisle and not the aisle. Alternatively if you have a very wide aisle your guests can walk either side of it.

If it is a particulary bad day, raining and muck, get the best man to have it rolled, re roll it, seat your guests and then just unroll prior to the grand entrance of the bridal party.

What will my runner look like?

Your runner will look like a runner of the same quality of a domestic rug, with a deep lushious pile, the writring and border will be as close to signed off proof as humanly possible. But bear in mind this process is hand woven so its got a 5-7 % accuracy leeway as in any naturally made product.

Where is my runner shipped from in europe?

It is shipped from our quality control plant in Dundalk through a recognised transport company.

How does the Wedding Runner arrive?

It will arrive in a packaged in a roll, ready to go on for your special day.

Are the Wedding Runners heavy?

This depends on the lenght of your runner, anything up to 20- 30 feet, one person could carry. Anything above that it is a good idea to have two people to carry and unroll.
