Alicia Grills Grant and Anne Marie Hamill are the brains behind WeddingRunner.com. Both are successful businesswomen in their own rights, Alicia owns The Rug Gallery; an award winning business supplying rugs to the Irish Market, and Anne Marie owns Hamilton Interiors, also an award winning interior design business.

As Alicia explains "I was researching sourcing a runner for a friend of mine for her wedding as a gift for her and found it extremely difficult, there was some low grade products out there, but nothing of the quality that I was looking for and the idea just hit me then. Anne Marie was very excited about the idea, so using all my experience in the carpet industry and all my suppliers, the business came together very quickly"
